Iced Tea K Cups
Making iced tea is a lot of fun with the Keurig machine. I am not certain why I like the idea of getting delicious iced tea from what appears to be a coffee machine, but I love it. Maybe I just love the Keurig overall because of its versatility. Either way here are some of the Iced Tea K Cups that are available.
It seems that Celestial Seasonings is dominating the market for iced tea k cups. Maybe other companies will jump in if the market gets big enough. I suppose it is just as novel for these other companies to think of the Keurig as an iced tea machine as it is for me.
One of the first Celestial Seasonings iced tea k cups that I ever tried was their southern sweet black tea. Now personally, I am not in love with any sweet teas, and this one was fairly sweet. The taste was of a strong black tea that was doused in sugar. Everyone around me that tried it, loved it, so I will say that if you just want a good cup of sweetened tea, give their Southern Sweet k cup a try.
This then led me to try the Celestial Seasonings unsweetened black tea. Now this was a winner for me. Wonderful full taste and it was crisp and clean. As an avid iced tea drinker, I am very picky about my iced tea. There is nothing worse than an iced tea that is not crisp and fresh. This tea delivered and I have been using it in my Keurig ever since.
If you are one of those that loves tea flavor mixed with other drinks like lemonade, the Celestial Seasonings half and half k cup is for you. This k cup mixes lemonade with black tea. It is in a very nice combination and of course it delivers a fantastic lemonade/tea flavor that is sweet and refreshing. I know I am not a fan of sweetened tea, but this tea and lemonade combination was delicious and reminded me of when I used to visit relatives in the South.
Before I finished this little overview I wanted to include the Celestial Seasonings sweet peach k cup. This is because many people love to have a hint of fruit flavor in their iced tea. The sweet peach does exactly as the name says, it delivers a perfect cup of sweet peach iced tea. If you like the flavor of fruit in your tea give this k cup a try. They also offer sweet tropical, sweet lemonade, sweet raspberry, and a sweet berry lime iced tea k cups if you prefer one of those instead of the peach.
