Electric Tea Makers
Brewing tea is nothing short of a ritual for some people especially the more spiritual ones who enjoy traditional medicine and other forms of natural healing methods. However, even though you can certainly do many things to make your tea preparation more traditional and closer to how it was done centuries ago, there are still some things that modern civilization offers you which you shouldn't ignore.
Electric Tea Makers are among these things some traditionalists shun them as detracting from the "art" of making tea and limiting the control you have over the process, but in reality there's a lot to gain from using an electric tea maker if you drink some of the more popular blends of tea overall. Electric tea makers are convenient and quick especially if you have a hasty morning routine or are frequently on the road, both cases in which every minute saved counts. You can just pour water into the pot and leave it to boil for a few minutes as you go off preparing yourself and doing other things and this is convenience which no other tea preparation method can offer you (save from doing the unthinkable and simply throwing a cup of water in the microwave).
On the other hand, some opponents of the idea will tell you that it will restrict you to brewing only teas that aren't dependent on their steeping time and temperature. And while these people will make it sound like the end of the world and will probably give you the impression that you can't make any good tea at all in this type of tea maker, the reality is that there are only so many kinds of tea that require such precise measurements. And while it's true that you won't be able to prepare those as perfectly as they need to be made in an electric tea maker, you're likely forgetting one thing having this device doesn't somehow preclude you from making your tea in the traditional ways, so whenever you need to prepare a cup of tea that requires more specialized treatment, you can just do it the old-fashioned way and not have to worry about being limited.
So, is an electric tea maker worth it? There's really no reason not to get one you only stand to benefit greatly in your tea preparation routine from it.
