Bubble Tea Machine
Bubble tea is a wonderful new type of tea based drink that is becoming increasingly more popular in the United States. This tea is usually either milk based or fruit flavored with a fruit base. Before we start describing the type of tea, you need to understand that bubble tea gets it name from small pieces of fruit or other edible food that is in the drink, not because it has any carbonation or sparkling water qualities.
Most of the bubble teas that have a milk base use milk, powdered milk, or a creamer. These oftentimes have bubbles made of anything from malt, tapioca, to other types of edible "bubbles". The fruit based bubble teas usually have crushed fruit inside to create the "bubbles" within the tea. The types of foods used to make the bubbles varies greatly and is part of the fun in ordering a bubble tea drink.
A Bubble Tea Machine is a simple machine that mixes the ingredients within the tea. Most of these machines resemble milkshake or mixer machines but some more closely resemble paint mixer/shaker machines. Some bubble tea is mixed with a bubble tea mixer and then poured into the serving glass and other bubble tea machines seal the top of the serving cup with cellophane and then shake or mix the tea in the serving container. Many bubble machines do not mix the drink with a mixer as much as they shake the entire canister. They take the container and shake it up and down and side to side until the ingredients are mixed.
There is a wide range in options available for bubble tea machines as there is a wide range of prices that accommodate those features. The machines that resemble mixer machines can be cheaper, although using a shaking bubble tea machine may be preferable to a mixing typ machine in order to ensure the integrity of the "bubbles" and to make certain they are not pulverized by the mixer itself.
