Blossoming Tea
Tea is bigger now than it has ever been. Many people are looking for a much healthier alternative to their regular hot beverage, and tea has been shown to have many health benefits. This is why organic teas are becoming ever more popular. One of these great organic alternatives is Blossoming Tea, which is known by many as blooming tea, that adds some fun to the tea making process.
Blossoming tea is usually created using a range of rich and loose tea leaves and flowers. Essentially, the aim is to make a tea ball that can be used to steep the perfect cup of tea. But not only that, when placed into hot water, the ball of tea opens out into a flower! It can add an extra dimension to the making of tea.
The steeping process of organic blossoming tea is very similar to other types of organic drink. People that drink this tea will generally fill up a teapot with hot water and add the ball of tea to it. Over time, all the flavors of the blossoming tea will start to come out of the leaves, eventually making a fresh, unique and revitalizing drink.
The steeping process relating to blossoming tea should not take long. Like many other teas, the strength of the ingredients plays an important part of how long the tea should be steeped for. Usually, a few minutes in warm water will be enough to extract all the fine flavors that are needed. Some people tend to leave the leaves in the water for longer, 10-15 minutes, which will create a much more flowery aroma about the tea; this is simply down to personal preference.
The ranges of plants that can be used in blossoming tea are plentiful and again, each flower will have its own unique taste. Plants such as chrysanthemum, lily and sweet olive are all popular plants to use. Many people choose to use a combination of their most preferred plants to get the strongest and most unique taste.
Nowadays, organic teas like blossoming tea are extremely popular. More and more people are offering blossoming tea packs as gifts, allowing people to experience everything that the tea has to offer. The great thing about blossoming tea is that the tea balls can be used more than once. Generally, only a small amount of the flavor will be lost when it is first used which means that drinkers can use the tea ball another two or three times.
